Displaying wedding photos on a TV or projector during the reception creates a shared moment — guests see their uploads appear on the big screen within seconds. Iskra's Live view is a fullscreen slideshow that auto-advances through approved photos as they arrive.
What you need
- A TV, projector, or monitor at the venue
- A laptop or tablet with a browser (Chrome or Safari)
- HDMI cable, AirPlay, Chromecast, or venue's wireless display
- Your Iskra event already set up with guest uploads enabled
Connect your screen
Most venues have an HDMI input on the TV. Plug in your laptop, select the correct input, and mirror or extend your display. For wireless setups, AirPlay (Apple) or Chromecast (Google) work well — open Live view in the browser and cast the tab.
Open Live view
From your Iskra dashboard, open your wedding event and tap Live view. It opens fullscreen in the browser — press F11 on a laptop for true fullscreen. Photos fade in and out automatically; new uploads appear within moments if you've enabled auto-approve, or after you approve them in the dashboard.
Moderation tips for the big screen
Enable manual review if you want to approve photos before they appear on screen. Assign a bridesmaid or planner to glance at the dashboard during the reception — hide anything off-topic before it rotates into Live view.
Troubleshooting on the day
- Test the connection during setup, not five minutes before speeches
- Keep the laptop plugged in and on "Do not disturb"
- Use venue Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot if mobile signal is weak
- Bookmark the Live view URL so you don't hunt for it under pressure
