1. The service
is an event photo-sharing platform. Hosts (organizers) create accounts, set up events, share QR codes or links, moderate uploads, and manage galleries. Guests upload photos and may react or comment through a mobile web browser without creating an account.
Depending on your plan, the service may include live display of photos, a shared gallery, moderation tools, social reactions and comments, time-limited upload and gallery access windows, and (on paid Photo Gallery events) bulk download of approved photos.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Plan limits and pricing are described on our pricing page and in Section 8.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a host account or use the service as an organizer.
If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
The service is not directed at children. Hosts are responsible for ensuring guest participation at their events complies with applicable law, including obtaining any required consents for photography and data processing.
3. Host accounts
Registration
To use host features, you must register with a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Passwords must meet the requirements shown at signup (currently at least 8 characters, including at least one letter and one number).
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@iskra.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
Email verification
We may send a verification link to your email address. Certain features may require a verified email depending on our configuration of the service.
Profile and account changes
You may update your display name from account settings. Email changes and data export requests must be sent to hello@iskra.app.
Account deletion
You may delete your host account from account settings. Deletion requires confirmation of your email address. Upon deletion, we will cancel any active Iskra Pro subscription, delete your account and associated data (including events, photos, comments, reactions, and purchase records) subject to our backup and legal retention practices, and make best-effort removal of stored photo files. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
4. Guest use
Guests may access event pages via QR codes or links shared by the host. Guests do not need an account. Guest uploads and social interactions are associated with a browser-generated identifier stored locally on the guest's device.
Guests interact with the service subject to these terms and the host's instructions for the event. Iskra is not a party to any agreement between a host and their guests.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- upload, share, or promote illegal, infringing, harmful, harassing, hateful, or non-consensual content;
- upload content you do not have the right to share;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls, or access restrictions;
- interfere with or disrupt the service or other users;
- use automated means to scrape, bulk-download (except as expressly permitted to hosts on eligible plans), or overload the service;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law;
- use the service for unsolicited marketing or spam.
Hosts are responsible for content uploaded to their events and for ensuring guests are informed of any event rules, photography policies, and applicable legal requirements.
We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms or applicable law have been violated. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so.
6. User content
Your content
“User Content” includes photos, comments, reactions, event names, and other material submitted through the service by hosts or guests. You retain ownership of User Content you submit, to the extent you hold such rights.
License to operate the service
By submitting User Content, you grant Iskra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, distribute, and otherwise use User Content solely as necessary to operate, provide, improve, and secure the service — including displaying photos in galleries and live views, generating thumbnails, enabling moderation, and fulfilling download requests for eligible hosts.
This license ends when User Content is deleted from the service, except for reasonable backup copies and logs retained for a limited period.
Host moderation
Hosts may moderate User Content for their events, including approving, hiding, or deleting photos and removing comments or reactions, through the tools provided in the service.
No AI processing
The service does not use artificial intelligence or machine learning to analyze, classify, or generate User Content. “Automatic” moderation, where enabled by a host, means photos are published immediately without manual review — it is not automated content recognition.
Guest names
Guests may optionally provide a display name for comments. Guest display names are stored if provided.
7. Intellectual property
The service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation, is owned by Iskra or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these terms, no rights are transferred to you.
“Iskra” and related marks are our trademarks. You may not use our marks without prior written permission.
8. Plans, pricing, and billing
Plans

Plan limits — including upload windows, gallery access periods, host dashboard access periods, photo caps, and download availability — are applied automatically by the service and are essential terms of each plan.
Payment processing
Paid purchases and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy policy. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Prices are shown in US dollars unless otherwise stated at checkout. Taxes may apply where required by law.
Photo Gallery purchases
Photo Gallery purchases are one-time fees for a single event upgrade or creation. Payment is due at checkout. Features and access windows for that event apply as described for the Photo Gallery tier.
Iskra Pro subscriptions
Iskra Pro is a recurring monthly subscription that renews automatically until canceled. You may cancel from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, unless your account is deleted (which cancels immediately). If your current usage exceeds Free plan limits, you may need to reduce active events before cancellation can be scheduled.
If a subscription payment fails, we may retain Pro entitlements while Stripe indicates a past-due status, until the subscription is canceled or reactivated through Stripe.
We do not offer a free trial unless explicitly stated at signup or in a separate promotion.
Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, all fees are non-refundable. We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis — contact hello@iskra.app with your account email and purchase details.
Changes to pricing
We may change plan prices or limits. Price changes for subscriptions take effect on your next billing cycle after notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
9. Service availability and data retention
We aim to keep the service available during your events but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Event data is retained according to your plan's gallery access and host dashboard access windows, and may become read-only or inaccessible to guests after those windows expire. Hosts may archive events, which stops guest access while retaining data for the host for a period consistent with plan limits.

10. Third-party services
The service relies on third-party providers, including:

Your use of those services through Iskra may be subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ISKRA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that User Content will be preserved indefinitely, or that the service will be secure or free from loss, corruption, or unauthorized access.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- ISKRA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.
- ISKRA'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED POUNDS STERLING (£100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
If you are a consumer under the laws of England and Wales, you may have statutory rights that are not affected by these terms. See Section 18.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iskra and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- your User Content;
- your use of the service in violation of these terms or applicable law;
- your event and your relationship with guests, including failure to obtain necessary consents.
This section does not apply to the extent prohibited for consumers under mandatory law.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, or remove User Content, if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, pose a security or legal risk, or if required by law.
You may stop using the service at any time. Hosts may delete their account as described in Section 3.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including user content licensing, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and consumer information) will survive.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be notified by email or in-product notice where appropriate.
Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service and may delete your account.
16. General
- Entire agreement. These terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Iskra regarding the service.
- Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our consent. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the service, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
18. Consumer information (England and Wales)
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other mandatory consumer protection laws.
For digital content and services, you may have rights where the service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill or is not as described. Contact hello@iskra.app to resolve issues before pursuing formal remedies.
If you purchase Iskra Pro or Photo Gallery as a consumer, statutory cancellation rights may apply in certain circumstances (for example, distance contracts). Details will be provided at checkout where required.
