Guest photo sharing fails when it is an afterthought. Use this checklist a week before the wedding so QR codes, the MC script, and the venue screen are ready before guests arrive.
One week before
- Create your Iskra event and name it something guests will recognise
- Print QR codes for table cards, welcome sign, and bar area
- Scan every printed code yourself — lighting and size matter
- Decide: manual photo approval or auto-approve for Live view
- Confirm the venue has HDMI, AirPlay, or Chromecast for the TV
MC announcement script (30 seconds)
Ask your MC or DJ to say this once during the reception — not before every speech: "If you took photos tonight, scan the QR code on your table to share them — no app needed. They may appear on the big screen." One clear mention beats repeating it all evening.
Day-of setup (30 minutes)
- Place QR cards before guests sit down
- Connect laptop to venue TV during setup — not five minutes before speeches
- Open Live view fullscreen and bookmark the URL
- Assign one person ( bridesmaid, planner, or sibling ) to glance at moderation
- Keep the laptop plugged in and on Do Not Disturb
After the wedding
- Review and hide any off-topic uploads before sharing the gallery link
- Bulk-download everything if you upgraded to Photo Gallery
- Share the gallery link with guests who could not attend
